**Job Description**:
As the Senior Social Media Manager, you’ll lead the creation and delivery of social media content on this key account with the help of a team of project managers, content managers, editors, and designers.

We are looking for someone with strong knowledge across all social media platforms, as well as a good understanding of how brands can use social media to engage audiences online. Someone with experience on always-on content, as well as organic and paid campaigns at a national level, working alongside internal and external stakeholders. Passion for pop and internet culture is a must.

The role will be hybris remote, based in Madrid, Spain.
- ** Social Media Account Management**
- The senior social media manager will lead on the development of the social media presence for our client, helping drive reach and engagement for their social channels with excellent creative and strategy.
- The senior social media manager will be responsible for the creation and management of content calendars for both paid and organic assets, and to create copy with oversight from the team. They will also work with social designers on creating assets, liaising with clients for reviews and approvals (as and when required), working with our team to build and manage communities around a well-loved global brand.
- The senior social media manager will be responsible for creative ideation, community management, social copywriting, scriptwriting, short and long-form copywriting, reporting. For this, the senior manager will brief, oversee and sign off on work created by junior content managers and other members of the team (as and when required).
- The senior social media manager will be responsible for leading social coverage for live events (using smartphone technology), as well as marketing and junket shoots, briefing and managing high profile entertainment talent
- The senior social media manager will work hand in hand with Senior Creative to make sure content and ideas are in line with creative strategy and fit for purpose for this client.
- **Social Media Expertise**: the senior content manager will ensure they remain up to date with the new trends/behaviors on social media and translate this to various clients in a reactive and relevant way, for both paid and organic content.
- **Project management**: Working closely with the project management team to ensure the success in time and on-budget, delivery of briefs. This will involve understanding and following internal processes, including but not limited to timing plans, content calendars, wash-up reports for which the senior social media manager will be responsible for. It includes Liaising with clients and key stakeholders to receive briefs and key information, ensure they are made aware of all relevant information and are able to input on key decisions and sign off. This doesn’t include financial accountability.

**Qualifications**:

- Someone with 4-6 years experience on social media
- Someone who is fluent in English and Spanish with excellent written and communication skills (minimum C1 English accreditation or similar)
- Somebody who is passionate about social media, entertainment and pop culture, and that understands their nuances in Spain and LATAM.
