Thinking beyond opportunity and reward, at Flowserve, we are inspired by working together to create extraordinary flow control solutions to make the world better for everyone **Key Responsibilities** - Drive manufacturing strategy cost and expansion initiatives leading collaboratively with functional partners to ensure execution as needed by the business. - Lead directly and through influence, exhibiting Flowserve’s core values and competencies. - Drive global productivity initiatives. Identify projects with regional teams and recommend appropriate course of action (e.g., discontinuation, outsource, process improvement) to maximize profitability and supply. Utilize the Flowserve Business System tools and resources to maximize efficiency across the organization. - Drive a cross functional culture of accountability and ownership through effective communications and execution, transparency, courage, calmness, resilience, and confidence. - Communicate a vision and strategic objectives that aligns with the operations and business strategy. Align with all operations teams to ensure a consistent message for each project. - Establish key performance indicators that drive change and visibility to the team and leadership. Track, trend, and monitor projects with standard work and drive results. - Countermeasure bottlenecks to milestones; utilizing thorough risk management practices, continuous improvement tools and prioritization to utilize resources effectively and achieve objectives. - Manage project budgets, schedules and key operating metrics. - Facilitate and mentor the development of team members and leaders. - Other tasks / projects as needed. **Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree in related discipline. - Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a complex manufacturing environment. **Desired Qualifications** - Strong leadership competency with the capability to leverage diverse resources, respond quickly, understand the impact of changes and decisions, facilitate agreement, build collaborative relationships and focus on customer needs. - Larger manufacturing site leadership is a key differentiator (>300 employees) but not required. - Demonstrated experience as a change agent with ability to influence and communicate at all levels in the organization. - Ability to work with individuals at all levels and within all functions to actively coach technical and non-technical professionals to achieve maximum performance. - Strong analytical skills including the ability to effectively use data in problem solving and to evaluate process changes and impacts. - Ability to partner with and influence key stakeholders outside of Operations: including Finance, Product Management and the Commercial Sales team. - Ability to demonstrate flexibility and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal and the ability to facilitate effective team interactions. **Preferred Skills**: - Excellent estimating, scheduling & budgeting skills - Proven experience in risk and change management - Your command of English is at least on C1 level according to the CEFR - You are an EU citizen and you are in the possession of a EU passport - Greenbelt, Blackbelt or Lean training experience preferred - Rotating equipment experience is an advantage - Experience using Microsoft Office. - Adaptability, flexibility, and pro-activity. **Req ID** : R-8517 **Job Family Group** : Engineering **Job Family** : EN Engineering EOE including Disability/Protected Veterans.
