VHIR offers vacant position for a Postdoctoral Researcher within the Biomedical Research in Urology.

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required**:

- PhD in the area of biomedical sciences
- Good communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English Good qualifications

**Desired**:

- Knowledge of bioinformatic tools

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required**:

- Publication as a co-author in a peer-reviewed journal or demonstrated scientific background
- Experience in molecular biology and cancer biology A degree of independence and teamwork skills

**Desired**:

- Experience in genomic techniques (WES, NGS, exome-sequencing )

**Main responsibilities and duties**:

- Provide support for the tasks needed in the context of the Flute project to fulfil the aims.
- Collaborate in the European project Flute aiming to accurately discriminate between indolent and aggressive prostate cancer.

**Labour conditions**:

- Full-time position: 40h/week
- Starting date: January 2025
- Gross annual salary: 24.785,40 euros Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
