**Senior IT Product Manager for Engineering & Technology**

**The Product Platform unit in IT at Bayer AG is a key driver in the acceleration of our digital transformation to maximize business value for Enabling Functions and Divisions by delivering valuable products and efficient platforms.**

**In your new role as Senior IT Product Manager for E&T, you will be responsible for leading architectural decisions across all E&T digital products, supporting product engineering and transformational solution delivery. The main focus of your work will be in the engineering and CapEx project management area. You are regarded as the expert in digital technologies and integration topics to support the digital transformation in the E&T function.**

**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- You drive the development of the target architecture for the E&T IT Product Platform along Bayer’s Enterprise Architectural governance and IT strategy with a main focus on digital products in engineering and CapEx project management
- You make decisions regarding the digital product roadmap including item priority in the digital product backlog leveraging a deep understanding of functional and IT dependencies while balancing investments for the platform.
- You support decision making in the E&T IT Product Platform in complex integration topics including on premise and cloud-based solution across all digital E&T IT products and projects
- You manage stakeholder expectations by effectively communicating how the E&T IT Product Platform develops a digital product strategy along the business, IT and global Bayer strategy
- You partner with strategic external and internal IT partners like solution engineers and integration architects to develop minimum viable products considering dependencies and synergies within the IT ecosystem
- You utilize and advocate established standards, guidelines, and tools; seek and introduce new tools and best practices as part of continuous improvement methodology

**WHO YOU ARE**
- Master or Diploma in IT or IT-related discipline
- Several years of working experience in industry
- In depth understanding of service-oriented architecture, webservices, cloud technologies and APIs
- In depth knowledge on IT enterprise architecture principles and SaaS integration
- In depth knowledge of network architecture e.g., servers, firewalls, protocols
- Interest in natural sciences, innovative process, and engineering technologies
- Very good analytical and problem-solving skills with eye on market trends
- Proven ability to grow relationships with key partners and suppliers and ability to solve conflicts constructively
- Ready to think, behave and act in an innovative consulting manner to drive the organization’s digital strategies
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Ability to work successfully with people from a variety of different cultures and backgrounds
