Director, Employment Vendor Management

Oyster is growing fast, and we are looking for a Director of Employment Vendor Management to build, lead and scale the function responsible to source and manage our Employment Vendors providing services in 50+ countries. Reporting directly to Andrea Di Natale, Head of Global Operations, you will work in strong collaboration with Customer Experience, Legal and Sales to enable the internal functions to operate faster and efficiently and to ensure we are making data-driven decisions. The Vendor management team will own the relationships with partners supporting our employment infrastructure across the world. We built out a global network of "Employers of Records" and we are expanding our global footprint - you will be helping Oyster to grow to be truly global The role will be responsible for maintaining the overall relationships, sourcing and doing deals with new vendors, negotiating terms to optimize the proposition for our customers as we grow and embedding these partnerships within the Oyster business. We expect a desire to work cross-functionally to help others, and an openness to ambiguity as we grow this function. We are looking for a 'builder', responsible for setting up the vision for the function, hiring and developing their team, and executing on the plan. **Hiring process**: In the interview process for this role, you will be meeting with a few key members of our leadership team. Your first interview will be with the Head of Global Operations. After which, you will have the opportunity to meet with the Head of Partnerships and Head of Customer Operations. Lastly, as the final part of the interview process, we would like you to participate in a case study presentation with members of the Oyster Leadership Team. **Location**:While this position is posted in a specific location, all of Oyster's positions are fully remote and you can work from home.
