**Missions et responsabilités**
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The VIE will work within the R&D team localized on the site of San Martin plasterboard plant in Spain. He will take part to the development of new types of plasterboards either with lower CO2 impact or providing stronger safety of the living place. The job will take place at the interface between R&D and manufacturing with the objective of supporting the resolution of product and process issues that might arise during the critical step of industrialization. It will include lab work but also industrial trials for which proposals, active participation and deep analysis of the outcome are needed.
Main responsibilities:
- Review of the state of the art, existing documentation and existing protocols,
- Set up of adapted lab protocols,
- Design and conduction of lab tests to anticipate manufacturing difficulties associated to the slurry behavior,
- Design, production and analysis of lab samples to anticipate the performance of the new product,
- Support and analysis of full scale trials at the plant,
- Writing of documents: formalized lab protocols, trial reports, technical analyses.
**Profil recherché**
- Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Material Science or equivalent,
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), Spanish is highly recommended to be able to talk with the operators,
- Strong ability to work in teams and collaborate with technical teams with distinct backgrounds and priorities,
- Autonomy, initiative, rigor in technical analyses, with an interest in the resolution of practical issues.
