**Chronic Liver Disease Group**

We are seeking a highly motivated, organized researcher with MD background to conduct clinical and
translational research in the field of alcohol-related liver disease (ALD), metabolic-dysfunction associated
leadership and mentoring skills as well as critical thinking and be willing to enter a PhD program.

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required**:

- MD
- Knowledge and experience in Biostatistics
- At least 3 peer-reviewed publications
- Fluency in English

**Desired**:

- Interest in laboratory research
- Experience in liver diseases
- Master’s in sciences
- Medical specialty training approved in Spain
- Catalan, Spanish

**Main responsibilities and duties**:

- Collect clinical data
- Analyze clinical data
- Conduct systematic reviews and meta-analyses
- Give support to ACLD lab
- Participate in training activities
- Fulfill PhD student duties within the PhD program at the Universiitat Autònoma de Barcelona School of

Medicine
- Collaborate with partners at the local and international level
- Mentor Masters’ students
- Analyze experimental and bioinformatics’ data
- Keep track of new opportunities for funding and educational activities

**Labour conditions**:

- Full-time position: 40h/week.
- Starting date: immediate
- Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our
