**Position Summary - Key responsabilities and principle tasks**

He/she participates to the design of Telecom payloads:
Participates to the following tasks:
During the development phase (up to CDR):

- Analyze of customer needs and validation of detailed architecture,
- Specifications and interfaces definition for Payload sub-systems and equipments, in coordination with System engineering (especially when throughput requirements) and also Satellite (global sizing and consistency),
- Establishment of performances analyses and compatibility with satellite and TCR,
- Establishment of Payload system budget (RF, M&C, TM/TC), check compliance with satellite interfaces requirements, accommodation validation (w.r.t. Payloads constraints),
- Sub-systems and equipments follow-up up to FMs final acceptance

During Payload/Satellite AIT phase:

- In coordination with IVVQ and AIT department, active contribution to establishment of verification plans, tests requirements, tests configurations/conditions preparation,

Validation of tests relative to cross-check, performances and payload operability.

**Skills and ideal experience**

Degree in Engineering, preferred Telecom engineering
- Space Telecommunications
- Transmission, link budget
- Languages: English, Spanish essential and French a plus
