Senior Business Analyst

To strengthen our Global IT Hub in Barcelona, we are looking for an** **Senior Business Analyst - NHSc Commercial Execution** **within our** Analytics, Data and Integration (ADI) **team**:

**The role**

The IT Analytics, Data and Integration team is supporting the Nestle Health Science Commercial Execution on Customer Engagement, Pricing and Tender domain. In this role, you will be responsible for the functional vision of the product and serve as a liaison between IT and the Business organization. As part of the IT and Product Team, you will be working closely with the Analytical lead from the Business to bring deep understanding of the opportunities and issues facing the business function. You then translate business strategies, opportunities, threats and needs into the IS/IT product requirement and play a key role within the product team to define, test and deploy those IS/IT solutions.

**What you’ll do**
- Requirements Gathering: Get a deep understanding of the business processes / best practices / challenges / key success factors and work with stakeholders (Headquarters, Markets, Regional or Globally managed business) to gather and validate business requirements of complex solutions. Advise on best possible option to respond to business requirements. Identify gaps in existing functionalities and options for improvement. Make decisions, provide recommendations, and resolve conflict raised by the project team or stakeholders to drive solutions in the correct direction.
- Execute by managing remote teams. Analyze, document and test program development, logic, process flows and specifications.
- Help guide future direction: Active participation in strategy definition for the area of responsibility, this includes integrating IT strategy and broader business context. Liaise with and involve teams outside of own area where required. Document training materials for the product area. Support the Product Manager in the development of the strategy through incremental improvement of the product
- Deliver training to the end users, deployment and support teams Implement effective IS/IT Change and Release Management / Test planning and execution / Incident and problem management practices. Lead continuous improvement activities where needed.
- Ensure proper usage of design & build, Compliance, and documentations in line with Nestlé IT standards and methodology. Sustain 3rd Level: contribute to resolution of complex IM's, RM's and Problem tickets within the service level agreed with the markets.

**Minimum qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience.
- Mandatory knowledge on Veeva CRM data model and Salesforce solutions such as Marketing cloud and personalization.
- 5+ years as Business Analyst with design and implementation experience in IS/IT, with Agile methodologies. Experience in working with IS/IT consumers, understanding requirements and opportunities, and translating them into solutions and testing before release.
- Strong experience of project management and development life cycle methodologies, working effectively with global environment of virtual teams (3rd party offshore suppliers).
- Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English.

**Bonus Points If you have**:

- Experience with life science or pharma processes and companies, particularly on customer engagement, pricing, and tender a plus.
- Experience with SQL on Microsoft Azure environment and Snowflake a plus.
- Strong data visualization skills using Power BI required, advanced DAX knowledge preferred.
