**The Opportunity**

This is your chance to participate in project that will involve the calculation and dimensioning of water networks and infrastructures in the unique projects carried out in the company's Civil Department. You will interact with and advise other engineers, specialists, managers, and clients. You are expected to support project delivery, bids, and client relationship management.

**As a Junior Water Engineer at Arup, you will**:

- Provide support in the design and calculation of drinking water, irrigation, and sewerage networks for urban developments.
- Provide advisory reports to clients on water-related issues; for example, water allocations, water consumption in industrial settings, sale of water assets (sewage treatment plants, sewer networks, etc.)
- Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing with other multidisciplinary teams.
- Coordinate with counterpart teams in other company offices outside of Spain.
- Gain experience in urban-scale infrastructure and climate change adaptation.

**Does this role inspire you?**

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic junior consultant to support water projects across the sector, including business cases, resilience and climate change adaptation projects, and calculation and design projects for networks and hydraulic systems. Ideally, you’ll bring:

- A Degree in Industrial Engineering / Civil Engineering / Environmental Engineering.
- At least 1 year of experience in water-related consulting.
- Basic knowledge of water process lines and treatment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills (including presentation skills, written communication, and reporting).
- Fluent written and spoken skills of English and Spanish, at least C1.
- Proficiency use of GIS software.

**Bonus points if you have**:

- Knowledge of a software for calculating water networks under pressure and gravity.
- Enthusiasm for a career in the water sector, based on an understanding of our industry and work.
- A proactive and organized approach and the ability to plan ahead to ensure deadlines are met.
