**ROLE SUMMARY**:
King’s College Murcia is seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join our vibrant Primary team from late August 2026. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an energetic and creative educator who is passionate about delivering high-quality learning experiences and supporting pupils to develop independence, confidence, and a love of learning within a caring British international school environment.-
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the full Year 4 curriculum in line with the English National Curriculum.-Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports academic progress and personal growth.-Assess, record, and report on pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to pupils and parents.-Foster strong relationships and positive behaviour, promoting respect, cooperation, and a growth mindset.-Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan units of work, share best practice, and contribute to whole-school initiatives.-Communicate effectively with parents and carers, ensuring they are well informed and involved in their child’s development.-Contribute to extracurricular activities, school events, and wider community engagement.-
**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).-Experience teaching within the primary phase, ideally with Year 4 or Key Stage 2 classes.-Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum and effective pedagogy for KS2 learners.-Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and inspire pupils.-Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.-A creative, reflective, and student-centred approach to teaching and learning.-A commitment to contributing positively to the wider school community.-
