Project Manager

We are currently looking for a new Project Manager/Senior Project Manager to join our team in Madrid.**

As a Project Manager/Senior Project Manager, you will scope, lead and deliver projects that provide support to leading Swedish companies in their international business development and expansion in Spain and Portugal as well as in other markets in Europe.

You will also be part of a business development team, drive client dialogues, and insight driven initiatives of new business opportunities, as well as prospecting and developing customer value propositions.

You will join Region Europe, a key region in Business Sweden that operates from 15 local offices across Europe. Our role is to help Swedish companies grow global sales and international companies invest and expand in Sweden.

The role includes both strategic, tactic and operational responsibilities such as:

- Represent Business Sweden as a trusted adviser, finding solutions to our clients’ most pressing challenges in the Spanish and Portuguese markets, but also in all of Europe
- Drive client dialogues, and take on full sales cycle responsibility including monitoring leads, developing pipeline, and developing project scope, proposals, and cost
- Lead, manage, and develop project team members to ensure successful project deliveries and team competency development

The role is based in _Madrid_, but you will be expected to work with our teams and clients globally, as required.

**Formal requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree/master’s degree in business, STEM, or similar field
- Minimum 5 - 7 years of relevant experience (depending on PM or SPM role) of working in management consulting or other advisory services with a focus in business development and project management
- Experience from working and living in an international context with business and market focus
- Proven track record developing and executing deals with deep customer insight, strong negotiation and closing skills
- Experience in defining project scope, direction, timeline, and objectives and monitor deliverables and team responsibilities
- Leadership experience from leading teams and an interest in developing and growing talents
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- A high level of proficiency in both written and spoken English and an intermediate level in Spanish
- Proficiency in Swedish is highly meriting
