**About the Team Hiring**

The IT Department is responsible for the management, strategy, and execution of the IT infrastructure of the GRAITEC Group, and tracking technology in order to achieve business goals, minimize security risks, maintain operations and systems. The IT Team is in charge with implementing the governance for the use of network and systems, it assists the operational units by providing them the functionality they need and is responsible for providing the infrastructure for automation.
- The IT Department of GRAITEC is a diverse, multicultural environment, with a wide range of experienced professionals, with strong technical / interpersonal skills and a dedication to excellence. The IT team operates in Romania, UK, Canada and France, working alongside all major departments in offering top-notch solutions to the global infrastructure.

**Overview**

Role purpose/Objective

A data analyst collects, organises and studies data to provide business insight.
- In this role, you will:

- Identify, collect and migrate data to and from a range of systems
- Manage, clean, abstract and aggregate data alongside a range of analytical studies on that data
- Manipulate and link different data sets - summarise and present data and conclusions in the most appropriate format for users

Key Responsibilities
- produce and track key performance indicators
- develop and support reporting processes
- monitor and audit data quality
- set up and maintain automated data processes
- identify, evaluate and implement external services and tools to support data validation and cleansing
- liaise with internal and external clients to fully understand data content
- gather, understand and document detailed business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques
- design and carry out surveys and analyse survey data
- manipulate, analyse and interpret complex data sets relating to the employer's business
- prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools
- create data dashboards, graphs and visualisations
- mine and analyse large datasets, draw valid inferences and present them successfully to management using a reporting tool.
- Key Metrics
- Create and maintain a set of dashboards with KPIs used by managers of all departments
- Support users in the development of their own PowerBI dashboard
- Identify data inconsistencies and help the team remediate them

**Responsibilities**
- knowledge of data analysis tools - you don't need to know all of them at entry level, but you should show advanced skills in Excel and the use of at least one relational database
- familiarity with other relational databases
- knowledge of data modelling, data cleansing, and data enrichment techniques
- the ability to carry out data quality control, validation and linkage
- an understanding of data protection issues
- experience of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques
- the ability to produce clear graphical representations and data visualisations.
- an understanding of data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, distribution etc.)
- high-level verbal and written communication skills.

**Qualifications**

- Communication. You can communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Data modelling, cleansing and enrichment. You can produce data models and understand where to use different types of data models.
- Data quality assurance, validation and linkage. You can identify appropriate ways to collect, collate and prepare data. You can decide if data is accurate and fit for purpose. You can prepare and cleanse data with limited guidance.
- Data visualisation. You can use the most appropriate medium to visualise data to tell compelling stories that are relevant to business goals and can be acted upon. You can present, communicate and disseminate data appropriately and with influence.
- Logical and creative thinking. You can respond to problems in databases, data processes, data products and services as they occur. You can initiate actions, monitor services and identify trends to resolve problems. You can determine the appropriate remedy and assist with its implementation, and with preventative measures.
