**Introduction to the company**:
Founded in 2020, Elyse Energy is an independent French industrial SME, pioneer in the production of low-carbon molecules.

To this end, Elyse Energy integrates and combines the most relevant technologies. It is primarily a project asset owner, who intends to master the key elements of its plants and production, from start to finish and over the long term. With an ongoing focus on industrial safety, Elyse Energy standardises its units to provide its customers with competitive solutions and support their growing needs.

With operations in France and on the Iberian Peninsula, Elyse Energy contributes to strengthening European energy independence and the decarbonation of the chemical, maritime and aviation industries.

The team is expanding and looking to welcome a new top-level member to support its growth in Iberia on an essential part of the business in the Peninsula, which is the renewable electricity generation. Our industrial plants will indeed be sourced by renewable electricity, both in direct self-consumption and through virtual PPAs. We intend to create a special company within Elyse Energy dedicated to the renewable electricity business, headed by this new member who will be structuring and piloting the activity and managing the dedicated team.

The objective of this Renewable Energy Platform is to build the adequate portfolio, composed of wind and solar assets, through internal project development, project development partnerships as well as acquisitions. The Platform will be active across the whole value chain, as an independent power producer: from greenfield development up to construction management, financing, and operation.

**Tasks and responsibilities**:
As Renewable Energy Platform Director your key responsibilities will be:

- Being a member of the management committee of Elyse Energy Iberica
- Defining the Platform strategy and leading its business
- Structuring the Platform as a developer and IPP
- Building a strong team, managing it and making it grow depending on the needs
- Representing the Platform towards counterparties
- Interacting with the rest of the company, understanding the market dynamics and the regulation to pilot the renewable energy business
- Jumping in, finalizing, and integrating, the current development activities or ongoing transactions
- Structuring PPA contracts

**Profile required**:

- Extensive experience in the renewable energy industry, in project developers and power producers’ top management
- Expertise in wind and solar energy and project development, financing, construction and operation
- In-depth knowledge of the renewable energy industry and the electricity markets in Iberia
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset
- Ability to launch and develop a business
- Leadership and management abilities to pilot the activity and drive the team
- You’re a true believer in decarbonization new energies and willing to address an exciting challenge for the energy transition

**Languages**: Fluent in both Spanish & English. French would be the icing on the cake.
