As a** Data Architect** at Uberall, you will spearhead our data management systems' strategy, integration, governance, and security. You'll ensure a scalable, best-practice architecture supporting current and future needs while leading governance committees and ensuring data accuracy and security.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead the Data Systems Committee, involving all data system administrators and key internal stakeholders (RevOps, FP&A-PI), to oversee a Data Systems roadmap that meets internal requirements and executes defined global architecture, integration, and security strategies.
- Manage Master Data processes and ownership, including data related to customers, employees, products, and vendors.
- Participate in the procurement process for new systems, with the authority to veto selections.
- Contribute as a member of the Data Analytics Group to enhance data analytics capabilities across Uberall.
- Design optimal and scalable data architecture for system and master data integration, focusing on plug-in/plug-out solutions to minimize third-party system dependencies and facilitate replacement when necessary.
- Oversee the design and management of the Data Warehouse essential for Uberall's operations.
- Continuously expand the data warehouse data to cover further use cases in close collaboration with key stakeholders and the Data Analytics Group, ensuring the architecture supports evolving business needs.
- Develop and implement the overall strategy for data architecture, integration, governance, and security across Uberall's data management systems, including but not limited to SFDC, CZ, Netsuite, ABE, Pigment, Tableau, BambooHR, Lever, Small Improvements, Amazon RedShift_DwH and future systems.
- Serve as a member of the Data Strategy Committee, collaborating with executive members and leading discussions on scalable ecosystem development to support both current and future organizational needs.
- Design and implement technical solutions and processes for secure data access management, with a focus on sensitive employee data protection.
- This role calls for strong leadership skills, with an emphasis on inspiration and team direction towards operational excellence in data management.
**Your Profile**:
- Proven experience in data systems management, architecture, and governance, with a solid foundation in data management principles and practices.
- Strong technical proficiency with data management tools and software, including Amazon Redshift, and Airflow, and experience with CRM and ERP systems like SFDC and Netsuite.
- Knowledgeable in designing and implementing data governance and security measures, particularly in a cloud environment.
- Demonstrated ability in managing and optimizing data pipelines, DWH data ingestion, and system integration projects.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strategic thinker with an analytical mind, capable of managing cross-functional teams and projects.
- Experience in data architecture, specifically in building scalable solutions that minimize dependency on third-party systems.
- Familiarity with the procurement process for new systems and the ability to influence decision-making with a data-driven approach.
- Understanding of master data management, including the governance of customer, employee, product, and vendor data.
