**About Extension Fund**
Extension Fund is a venture debt fund investing in early-stage technology companies in Spain through debt and equity instruments. We support high-growth startups by providing flexible financing solutions tailored to their needs.

We are looking for an **Analyst** **to join our investment team in Madrid**. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in venture debt investing, work on exciting deals, and engage with the startup ecosystem.

**Your Role. As an Analyst, you will**:

- Play an active role in managing deal flow and evaluating investment opportunities.
- Conduct in-depth due diligence on startups, analysing financials, business models, and market potential.
- Support deal structuring for venture debt investments and convertible notes.
- Draft investment memos and prepare materials for the Investment Committee.
- Assist in preparing investor reports and fund performance updates.
- Monitor portfolio companies and analyse their financial and operational performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with top VC investors and key players in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

**What We’re Looking For**
- ** 1-2 years of experience** in investment banking, consulting, auditing, private equity, or venture capital.
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking.
- Highly structured, with experience in setting up and implementing processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Solid understanding of financial statements and company analysis.
- Fluent in **English and Spanish**.
