**Job Purpose**

The Crew Tracking Planner is part of Crew Planning and works side by side with the Crew Rostering team and Crew Control. The role reports to the Crew Rostering Supervisor.

Once the rosters are published, there are a series of events that need to be considered and action taken so that the schedules can be delivered in the best operational manner. The Crew Tracking Officer is primarily responsible for maintaining the published crew roster up to D+5, and doing so in the most efficient, least costly, and least impactful way for the crew. Maintaining these schedules with the greatest stability and the lowest cost is the main objective of this position.

**Main Accountabilities**
- Is accountable for assure that all scheduled routes published since D-5 are covered by the needed crew, complying with legal limitations and Company Agreement.
- Optimize resources to obtain the maximum schedule efficiency, considering routes volume to cover and available crew.
- Coordinate with crew administration and training department activity changes because of operative incidents.
- Inform concerning departments, current Roster supervisor, and department manager about incident resolution.
- Look after, as far as possible, the crew needs.
- Perform all his/her functions in accordance with the Regulations Framework and Operational Safety standards, established by Vueling.

**Main Responsibilities - Tasks**
- In addition to the responsibilities detailed in the job spec.
- Adjust the roster of crewmembers to ensure that hour’s issues do not arise.
- Monitor standby levels and their usability
- Find cover for uncovered duties.
- Make sure that the most economical ways are found to cover the roster.
- Make sure that all flights are covered.
- Complete daily checklists.

**Main Relationships**
- Cooperation with Crew Rostering and Crew Control teams.
- Flight Operations department and pilot’s base heads.
- Cabin Crew Operations department and cabin crew base heads.
- Training department.
- Human Resources.

**Education**
- Ideally graduated in aviation management or in studies related to management, administration, or tourism.

**Experience**
- At least 3 years of experience in airline operations.

**Competencies**
- Diplomacy.
- Work in a team environment and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions under time pressure environment
- Ability to communicate and coordinate with people.
- Attention to detail.
- Time management skills.

**Languages**
- English fluency.

**Other**
- Deep knowledge of AIMS on Power User Level.
- Knowledge of the OM-A 7 and the FTL rules on flight time limitations and crew’s rest.
