We are seeking an experienced mid-level Scrum Master to join our team in Barcelona, Spain. You will be a Facilitator for an Agile development team and be working within a specialised mixed group of Developers and QA’s. Focused on the build and implementation of state of the art Sports Betting products and highly innovative tools for Sports Traders to manage, monitor, and view sports betting activity.

**Responsibilities of the role**:

- Facilitate team meetings and scrum events such as daily stand-ups, backlog discussions, requirements planning sessions, product reviews and demos, retrospectives, product and feature breakdown sessions, capacity planning and estimation sessions.
- Lead your Scrum team using Agile methodology.
- Lead the Scrum team and development teams in self-organization.
- Working with multiple development teams
- Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments.
- Support the product owner and provide education where needed
- Helping the development teams deliver outstanding products utilising various agile methodologies (Lean, Kanban, XP etc)
- Effectively identify, manage and resolve issues when they arise
- Utilise knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, team dynamics and conflict resolution

**Technical competencies**:

- 2-3 years’ experience working within an Agile Scrum environment, in a Scrum Master role. Scrum Master certification would be highly desirable
- Can differentiate between Agile methodologies and Agile frameworks and understand the fundamentals of software development
- Be an advocate of Agile development methodologies (Scrum, TDD, DDD)
- Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in Scrum and ability to determine what Scrum is and what it isn’t
