- Presenting lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning.
- Providing individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning.
- Creating and distributing educational content.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning.
- Observe and evaluate students’ performance and development.
- Assign and grade class work, tests, and assignments.
- Working with others to plan and coordinate work.
- Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
- Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
- Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by school regulations.
- Prepare required reports on students and activities.
- Participate in department and parent meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**

- Frequently walks, uses hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and talks or hears.
- Often required to stand and sit; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat or crawl.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and in case of emergency a 40-pound child.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
