Render Wrangler Trainee

- While all Animation studios look to hire people who are creative and hard-working, Skydance Animation is specifically looking for pioneers who seek to push the limits of what the world’s most collaborative art form can achieve, and to give those pioneers the space and the resources to build a new studio that’s doing something different.The Render Wrangler is responsible for monitoring and optimizing the rendering processes on the farm, ensuring that is working at full capacity.

**Responsabilities**:

- Manage jobs following production’s needs.
- Report any issue or error.
- Offer help and assistance to the artists.
- Assist other team members, when it’s necessary.
- Follows supervisor’s and lead´s guidance.

**Requirements**:

- Understanding feature film production processes.
- Experience with Maya, Arnold, Houdini and Nuke. Other software is a plus.
- Basic Understanding of system administration tools and processes.
- Knowledge of farm managing software such us Deadline, Tractor or Qube.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python is a plus.
- High English level desirable.
