Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer

At Dopp, we are looking for an Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer for an important company in the energy sector in Seville. Integrated in a multidisciplinary group, you will have as main functions and responsibilities the following:

- Support in EMC tests for compliance in product validations and certifications.
- Ensure that the designs of power electronics converters meet the defined EMI/EMC and RF requirements.
- Modeling of power conversion systems for simulation and design of EMI filters.
- Definition and setup of test equipment for testing.
- Interface with different design teams to meet EMI/EMC and RF requirements.
- Troubleshoot EMI issues from components to system level.

**Requirements**:

- Education in Engineering.
- Proven experience in EMI/EMC and RF requirements, analysis, design, and testing.
- Experience in electromagnetic compatibility for power conversion systems including signal, control, and communication systems.
- Deep knowledge of EMC standards such as the IEC 61000 series.
- Knowledge of EMC modeling and simulation. Experience using simulation tools like Spice or equivalent will be valued.
- Experience in EMC testing in laboratories as well as certifications will be valued.
- Experience in solving EMI/EMC problems will be valued.
- Experience with reading, interpreting, and following schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs, electrical and mechanical designs, etc.
- Knowledge of power electronics converters and their components is desirable.
