**Mission**:

AZ is committed to evolve its value proposition beyond pure promotional push model to a more customer-based model, hence partnering with the Healthcare Innovation unit will be critical. This team is accountable to design projects/initiatives to address the _unmet needs of the Healthcare System and Mitigate the Pain Points of the Patient Pathway, shortening the Time to Diagnosis of Pathologies, Maximize Testing and Optimize Referral processes while ensuring optimal sequence and adherence of treatments._
The HC Innovation and Patient Pathway BP role will be in charge of Providing Input for the Design of Solutions based on Voice of the Customer Gathering, Ensuring Flawlessness Implementation of the Solution Proposed ‘n Acting as the Key Coordinator of the **Projects to Improve the Healthcare Pathway **by detecting, building and accelerating opportunities to bring value at the Account Level by partnering with the BZ and the whole HC Innovation Team throughout the Design, piloting and expansion process.
This role participates in the strategic definition and leads the development of Innovative Solutions to drive patient pathway optimization, ensuring projects meet the established deadlines and defining key KPIs to measure success. He/she has a holistic view of the different needs identified in his/her TA and a deep understanding of the pathologies and patient journey related. He/she is also able to design core, adjacent and transformational Innovative Solutions that address pain points of the patient journey, making sure that a Business Case per Solution is elaborated and accompanying and assessing the Brand Plan in the prioritization process. He/she also coordinates the initial implementation of adjacent and transformational Innovative Solutions.
**Responsibilities**:
**1. **Oncology Business Partner**:
- He/she is an active part of the Brand Teams of the TA under scope.
- Has a comprehensive understanding of the patient journey of the pathologies under the TA.
- Assesses and prioritize patient journey pain points/challenges, alongside with the rest of the Brand Team.
- Identifies all Innovative Solutions being performed in the brands under his scope (led by medical, diagnosis, access, marketing, innovative solutions ).
- Leads the prioritization process of all Innovative Solutions under scope, ensuring homogenization in KPIs reporting, and RoI calculation eventually proposing prioritization proposal to Healthcare Innovation and OBU leadership team.
- Excels in building value-based projects, covering healthcare ecosystem needs from design and ensuring impact on health and across value chain.
- Provides deep understanding and expertise, ensuring that health information systems are properly embedded on health innovative solutions.
**2. **Innovative Solutions Design**:
- Leads the design of Innovative Solutions that address prioritized pain points in the TA under scope.
- Leads the landing of AZ Spain HC Innovation strategy into the TA under scope.
- Elaborates Business Cases that show the return planned for the designed Innovative Solutions.
- Coordinates the Brand Team on the prioritization process of Innovative Solutions.
- Assesses the Brand Team on the prioritization process of initiatives to be included in the Tactical Plans.
**3. **Innovation Strategy**:
- Performs continuous scouting of Innovation trends in the TA under scope to Design a clear Strategy dedicated to improve pathways in relevant ThAs to accelerate market dynamisms.
- Provides TA teams with continuous assessment and support to build next generation health innovative solutions integrating patient, health professional and business needs on every step of the process.
- Attends to the Scientific Summits related to the TA to scout potential solutions and trends, representing AZ innovation values and strategy.
- Brand Plan Input : Situation Analysis, Strategy Definition, Propose, Execute ‘n Follow Up Activity.
**4. **Solutions Delivery and follow-up**:
- Responsible for the implementation landing and validation of solutions of his/her TA, assuring time and budget compliance.
- Ensures consistent, quality and maximum value delivery and no duplication of efforts.
- Measures project performance feeding projects’ key indicators for follow-up and evaluation of results.
- Provides periodic executive reports to Project Sponsors, identifying potential project blocks and red flags.
- Participates in AZ project follow-up sessions to present key achievements.
- Provides Project Management methodology to ensure pilot optimization.
**5. **Compliance**:
- Responsible for internal and external interactions of the team, regularly evaluating business/compliance risks to enable teams to operate accordingly.
