Secops Manager

Verisure Information Security is now seeking an experienced SecOps Manager to lead a global and multi-disciplined team of up to 12 people, to deploy, administrate and maintain our cyber security tools and solutions.

The role will be part of the Group InfoSec organization reporting to the CISO. This position will be a key member of the InfoSec management team with critical responsibility to ensure support IT Ops / Dev to implement security KPI improvements, 1st line support for service incidents affecting security systems and day to day management and maintenance of security systems. The team mission is highly relevant, as it covers both the thinking and the hands-on needed to create large-scale and long-term impact.

**Responsibilities include**:
Manage the team to provide 1st and 2nd level support of security services, including triage and management of service incidents when necessary

Work on policies with InfoSec and work with IT teams to maintain security hygiene KPIs (patching, encryption, AV/EDR, access control etc.)

Work closely with InfoSec, Tech, and business stakeholders to ensure that security controls are implemented in line with the security strategy

Engage with third-party vendors as appropriate for the support of our platforms and new project

Set up a new 24/7 support function for security services

Represent SecOps across Verisure at key cross functional team meetings

Own and manage the project plan, financials, projections, issue/dependency tracking, resourcing and timescales for operations and projects

Effectively communicate program status through regular and meaningful reporting on progress to key milestone dates, risks and issues

Advocate delivery excellence, minimizing delivery risk

Maintain team backlog and manage work to milestones and deliverables

What you bring

We´d like to see that you have excellent all-round knowledge across all Information Security Domains aligned with business sensitivity and a pragmatic, patient, and motivational approach. In addition, you´ll have practical experience in defining security requirements for new projects and initiatives. Leadership skills are essential.

A mature and pragmatic approach to information security/sec ops developed through hard-won experience of 5+ years in similar field.

Experience managing, leading and motivation the SecOps team, hire and recruit new teammates as needed.

Experience managing projects and designing project plans, tracking, resourcing, and timescales.

Excellent stakeholder management skills ensure that security controls are implemented in line with the security strategy.

This is a global role based in Madrid that works across country borders, so excellent English is a must. Spanish would be nice to have as the existing team is based in Madrid.
