Network Architect

**Overview**:
As **Network Architect, **you will be responsible for defining and maintaining guidelines and frameworks for all network aspects of architecture within our organization. Additionally, you will be tasked with establishing blueprints and designs for solutions that involve network aspects, supporting the development of our company's products and services

Reporting to the Solution Engineer Senior Manager, you will be a part of the Design, Innovation and Architecture (DIA) Team of SITA For Aircraft

**What you will do**
- Define and maintain guidelines and frameworks for all network aspects of architecture, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Develop and implement network architecture solutions, taking into consideration the company's products and services requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide network engineering expertise during the design and development stages.
- Design and create network blueprints and designs that align with business objectives and meet customer needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments of existing network infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement and proposing innovative solutions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other teams, assisting with network-related inquiries and troubleshooting.
- Ensure network security measures are in place, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems, and conduct regular security audits.
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to evaluate and select network-related hardware and software solutions.
- Document network configurations, designs, and processes, maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation.

**Qualifications**:
**Who you are**
- Minimum of 5+ years network engineering experience in a solution development capacity.
- A prior experience in a Network Architect role or similar would be a plus
- Understanding of QoS, packet inspection, and dynamic traffic optimization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Cloud Specific (Azure is preferred) networking artefacts
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, standards, and technologies, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Proficiency in network design and architecture, including the ability to create detailed blueprints and diagrams.
- Familiarity with network security principles, tools, and technologies.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE or equivalent are highly desirable.
