- The mission has started. We proudly announce that we are starting the ramp up of our own cell manufacturing in Valencia. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. Operations takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations. The Expert Series Planner has the responsibility to be the expert of its specific process, oversee the planning of production equipment from concept to handover, ensuring the demands, technical specification and timelines.

**How you will CELLebrate**

This role is responsible for the strategic and technical oversight of production equipment planning—from initial concept through to final handover—ensuring alignment with project demands, technical specifications, local regulations, and timeline requirements. The Senior Expert works independently, providing guidance and technical supervision to Expert and Specialist-level Planners. This position reports directly to the Management Series Planning.
- Lead and take full ownership of the assigned production process. Oversee the planning of production equipment from concept to handover, ensuring fulfillment of all technical, timing, and quality requirements.
- Analyze and evaluate existing equipment and manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, reliability, safety, and ergonomics. Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for new equipment and technologies as well develop new concepts and ideas and implement them
- Ensure compliance of machinery with applicable local laws and regulations within the assigned process area.
- Track and report technical issues across FAT, SAT, and ramp-up phases. Prepare and conduct equipment handover to internal customers, ensuring CMK, CPK, and performance checks are fulfilled.
- Lead the implementation of equipment modifications and upgrades resulting from product or process changes, with a focus on change management and operational improvement.
- Act as the key interface between cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, Logistics, Procurement, R&D, HSE, PMO, and broader Operations.
- Coordinate and monitor of up-to-date documentation related to machinery (e.g., work instructions, SOPs) and regularly report on equipment performance, project progress, and key KPIs.
- Oversee and develop the continuously improving of new and existing process standards. Support internal and external audits to ensure alignment with regulatory and corporate standards.
- Support and monitor the status of control plans and P-FMEAs, ensuring all documentation is kept current.
- Coordinate with Process department the Design of Experiments (DOE) to optimize process parameters and identify areas for technical improvement.
- Support root cause analysis and failure investigations (including teardown analysis) in cooperation with relevant departments.

**What you need for our CELLebration**
- More than 6 years experience in battery sector.
- Bachelor´s or Master degree in Engineering or equally valid to possess relevant professional experience in the battery industry
