**"Celebrating local flavours"** defines the essence of GBfoods, the group that brings together the multi-local reality and the entrepreneurial and innovative spirit that has accompanied the various companies and local brands that shape it since its creation **80 years ago.** Today, with a turnover of around **1 billion euros** and a team of **3.300 employees,** GBfoods is present in 40 countries in Europe, Africa and the Middle East through prestigious brands as **Gallina Blanca, Star, Jumbo, Grand'Italia, Gino, Erasco, Liebig and Royco.** We are now looking for a **Global Category Buyer **to join our Corporate Purchasing Department in our Headquarters in Barcelona to support the business globally (Europe and Africa). The incumbent will be responsible for defining, communicating and ensuring the long Term Vision implementation and for delivering business advantages of the assigned categories: economy of scale, cost efficiency, and identifying and supporting productivity projects, and innovation. **Main tasks**: Strategy: - Define sourcing map and Market Strategy - Establish Governance and Control guaranteeing transparency and purchasing execution - Defining Purchasing coverage for each purchasing group - Monitor worldwide trends for the corresponding Group Market Intelligence - Procurement Risk Management - Innovation Hunters from Supply Market Planning: - Responsible for Global Budgeting Execution: - Manage Supplier Relationships, negotiation and Contracting - Responsible for Material TCO and cost visibility **What can you expect from us?** Being part of a growing multinational organization, in a multicultural and modern environment in a position with a global vision **What do we expect from you?** We are looking for someone with high sense of ownership and commitement who wants to be part of our growing project - University degree or engineering diploma - Experience: 5 years’ experience in a similar position in food manufacturing company. - Experience operating in International markets and Multinational Companies - Fluency in English - SAP knowledge desirable - Proactivity - Good negotiation skills - Project Management - Leadership
