We are seeking a dedicated Accountant for Bank & AR/AP to join our team in Madrid. You will be responsible for managing the energy sub-ledgers, accounts receivables, and accounts payables for Axpo Solutions AG. Your work will ensure accuracy, compliance with ICS controls, and efficiency in financial processes, contributing to the financial health of our operations.
**What you will do**:
- Manage daily accounting of Axpo Solutions AG bank transactions
- Coordinate and ensure timely booking of all bank transactions
- Clarify and resolve open banking transactions
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing of energy bills and maintain debtor master data
- Post energy vendor invoices, execute payment runs, and clear GR/IR accounts
- Ensure correct netting settlements and payments
**What you bring & who you are**:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration
- Practical experience in accounting, with SAP user knowledge
- Proficient in Excel and other IT skills (MS Office, Hyperion HFM/Tagetik)
- Strong self-management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and assertiveness
- Fluent in English, with German at B2 level

You will join a dynamic and professional team in Madrid, working closely with the Site Manager and reporting to the Head of Accounting Energy at Axpo Services AG. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality financial management and supporting the broader goals of Axpo Solutions AG.
