**The Role**
You'll be responsible for running your Agile Release Train (ART) working within our Cloud Communications API business.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate the quarterly PI planning events for your release train
- Coordinate the preparation and execution of release planning
- Coach leaders and teams in Lean-Agile practices and mindset
- Work with the Product team to support refinement and prioritisation of features
- Work with the Engineering Teams to support capacity planning and estimation
- Manage change to the ART's PI plan
- Work to remove cross team, ART, and departmental impediments
- Provide transparency and awareness of progress, dependencies and impediments through open communication and reporting for the ART
- Drive delivery and continuous improvement by utilizing feedback and metrics (quality, delivery rate, etc.) to identify areas of opportunity. Foster a culture of continuous improvement in your ART and across the organisation
You'll also work closely with our passionate global team of Release Train Engineers to:
- Develop and iterate on our Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) implementation, using a data driven approach
- Work with the Portfolio Lifecycle Management group and key executive stakeholders to drive ongoing clarity of strategy, decisions, and execution alignment
- Develop/modify processes to facilitate the working relationship between Engineering and its business functions and partners
- Share knowledge across ARTs and learn from each other
**About You**
- You're experienced in running a mature release train
- You're well versed in Lean/Agile principles and a range of Lean/Agile methods but a slave to none - you know when to adapt your approach based on the context
- You have had hands on experience of leading Agile transformations at scale and have a strong working knowledge of supporting tools (e.g. Jira/Jira Align)
- You're great at coaching and influencing people at all levels, and you've got experience working with senior leadership
- You're obsessed with continuous improvement, and you can tell us how you've made an impact in this area
- You can be productive on your own or working with a team. Waiting around for approval is not for you - you've got ideas and the confidence to implement them
