**Your mission and responsibilities**:
The Hybrid Cloud Security Architect will be joining a team which designs, builds, and operates the global Azure, AWS and On-premises environments of Siemens Healthineers (SHS). The role has an international footprint and is part of the Cloud Automation & Integration team.
**Task and responsibilities**:
- Understand Siemens information security requirements and drive adherence for cloud workloads
- Ensure new security services can be delivered to businesses seamlessly and meet / exceed customers’ expectations
- Ensure security framework for public and private cloud is implemented and tracked for compliance
- Ensure that security requirements of services are fully understood and adhered by the services team
- Embed and improve best practices in security service
- Work with Cyber Security and Operations teams to assess the services offered regularly and fix the gaps if any
- Develop and maintain security documentation
- Build working relationships with Siemens Healthineers and business teams
- Embrace a culture of continuous security improvement and excellence
- Stay current on cloud security industry trend
**Qualifications**:
- Overall 10+ years experience in IT and recent 3 years in hybrid cloud security
- Experience with the implementation of cloud security in an enterprise environment
Knowledge of Azure and AWS security strategies and tools
- Ability to communicate concerns clearly and effectively, issues to other teams
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
- Azure, AWS certifications along with other security certifications is a plus
Knowledge of ITSM tool like ServiceNow
- Design hybrid cloud infrastructure using XaaS* models in Azure to provide compute, networking, storage, and security services
- Create blueprints of security best practices for a multi-tenant environment in Azure.
- Implementing security best practices in the cloud landscape
- Designing highly secure, available, and cost-effective Azure/AWS-based hybrid cloud computing environment
- Monitoring system performance metrics to ensure availability requirements are met.
- Troubleshooting issues that arise in the production environment
- Designing and deploying Cloud security solutions and services in Azure/AWS environment
- Collaborating with other architects, DevOps engineers, and infrastructure teams to ensure a seamless deployment of all security solution from development to production
- Assist in designing and implementing solutions that are both customer-centric, and provide the best possible experience for developers, operators, and architects while meeting Organization’s requirements
- Stay up to date with industry trends in cloud security while delivering outstanding engineering.
**Additionally**
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to identify areas of focus and tackle new challenges with or without direction
- Must be able to communicate effectively and build solid relationships with individuals at all levels, in multiple geographies and business functions
- Strong oral, written, and presentation abilities - able to convey risk to all levels of the business, from C-level executives to operations and development teams
