Marketing Healthcare Trainee

Job Characteristics:

- Entry level marketing role.
- Assists Marketing Manager in the execution of marketing plans.
- Has a basic understanding of the marketing principles.
- Participates in conducting research in the following areas: portfolio optimisation (priority), market trends, competitor analysis & pricing definition
- Prepares and coordinates product introductions and updates - core activity

Education/Work Experience:

- Degree and fewer than three years of professional experience.

Independence Level/Reports to:

- Works under limited supervision. Normally reports to higher level marketing manager.

**Marketing Intern Healthcare**

**Location**:
Spain / Barcelona Office

**Job Characteristics**:
The Marketing Intern will be part of the Healthcare Marketing team and will assist the Marketing function by conducting the following tasks.
- Prepares and coordinates product introductions and updates together with Marketing Manager and in cooperation with European Segment Managers.
- Manage product lifecycle strategies incl. phase in/out; sales & customer communication; product documentation
- Identify portfolio optimisation via an Regional-wide approach to product use

In addition to perform the above core activities, the Marketing Intern will be eligible to develop experience and directly contribute to other core activities of the Marketing function:

- Supports to develop short and long-term strategies for demand generation using on-going market research, customer needs assessments, and customer and sales history analysis _(for those interested in Strategy Marketing experience)_
- Support Regional Marketing Leaders in defining pricing tactics, including the process of designing Value pricing _(for those interested in Commercial Marketing experience)_
- Provide Ecolab sales force with leadership and marketing support, including sales tools, training, competitive intelligence, and actionable reporting _(for those interested in Marketing Communication experience)._

**Education/Work Experience**:

- Fluent in English - other European language is an advantage
- Proficient in MS365 tools (SAP proficiency an advantage)
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Ability to relate to influential people and complex organizational structures; strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, good attention to detail and use of sound judgment in a fast-paced environment are essential
- Creative with entrepreneurial mindset
- Digital mindset
- Clear thinker: ability to digest complex situations and deliver solutions to problems

**Independence Level/Reports to**:
This role reports to the Regional Healthcare Marketing Responsible, usually working with limited supervision.

This role will also include coaching and development to progress - including the Development activities described above - as an opportunity for further career at Ecolab.
