**Job Description**:
Role purpose

The CRM team's vision is to operate a world class centre of excellence that supports our local markets in crafting programmes that deliver engaging and personalised experiences across multichannel touchpoints during the client lifecycle. To support this, we are looking to appoint a CRM Strategist to join a newly created regional CRM team to support the delivery of a future state CRM strategy for IG Europe, with the aim of creating data-led communications across our clients' lifecycle.

The role will work closely with our central centre of excellence, as well as markets within the Europe region to ensure that we deploy best in class CRM, localise standardised best practices and keep a keen eye on performance and continuous optimisation of our campaigns and journeys. The role will report into the Head of Marketing for IG Europe, and will work closely with agencies and local markets to execute on our strategy.

What you will do:

- Co-develop and co-design CRM strategy along with Group CRM Strategist and the European Head of Marketing, for clients from onboarding through retention, as well as for key new product launches
- Work with CRM Executives to adapt global journeys and campaigns for implementation at local market level in 7 European markets
- Work with CRM analytics to generate insights and turn them into actionable recommendations for CRM programmes, with support of our regional Marketing Intelligence Analyst and Regional Performance Marketing Analyst
- Take a data-driven approach to continuously maintain and improve customer journeys through regular CRM performance reviews and clearly defined testing strategies for the local markets
- Understand the regulatory landscape and ensure our communications are compliant and meet all requirements, with the support of the local Marketing and Compliance teams respectively
- Be a brand guardian and ensure that all communications are delivered according to IG's brand guidelines and brand experience principles
- Support our marketing colleagues across the regions in adapting the global CRM strategy for local relevance
- As a strategist, you will ensure the regional CRM team and wider marketing teams are fully upskilled in best practices in order to create a engaging, immersive communications experiences

- Experience in developing strategy recommendations for CRM activation's, customer journey planning and mapping
- A working understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other CRM technology
- A strong, creative thinker, who is innately inquisitive, with the ability to make the complex simple
- A passion for learning, and for sharing skills and capabilities to enable upskilling across relevant teams
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, as you will be collaborating with different teams globally
- Experience of the retail financial environment would be an advantage
- English proficiency is a must-have, while any other European languages would be positively valued (German, French, Italian, Swedish, Spanish, etc.)
