**Job Description**:
The healthcare sector is undergoing a digital shift challenging the status quo. Data & analytics is becoming a key enabler of business decisions. For our IT team in Madrid, we are looking for an experienced IT Data Lead who will bring his/her mindset, skillset and love for data with a strong focus on Data Architecture.

You will be part of the growing and open-minded Human Health IT team, providing technical data architecture/engineering expertise across Spanish market in alignment with Data Strategy and customer engagement teams to collaboratively produce E2E data and analytics products.

**Description**:

- Design, develop and maintain data pipelines to extract data from a variety of sources and populate data lake and data warehouse
- Develops and constructs data products and services and integrates them into their systems and business processes
- Accesses, cleans, prepares the data, ensuring it can be reused as needed

**Key responsibilities**:

- Designs, builds, and maintains data pipeline architecture - ingest, process, and deliver data to stakeholders
- Develop complex business data inbound/outbound pipelines and solutions to ensure industrialized data availability
- Assemble large, complex and disconnected datasets into optimized data models to funnel data and analytics products.
- Improve data automation processes to build an industrialized data quality environment that provides stable data reliability.
- Ensure that data dictionary definitions, governance practices & standards are in place including data flow diagrams and architecture diagrams.
- Ensures best practices sharing and cross the organization
- Enables delivery of data-analytics projects
- Develops deep knowledge of the company's supported technology; understands the whole complexity/dependencies between multiple teams, platforms (people, technologies)
- Communicates intensively with other platform/competencies to comprehend new trends and methodologies being implemented/considered within the company ecosystem
- Understands the customer/stakeholders business needs/priorities and helps building solutions that support our business goals
- Establishes and manages the close relationship with customers/stakeholders
- Has overview of the data engineering market development to be able to come up/explore new ways of delivering pipelines to increase their value/contribution
- Builds “community of practice” leveraging experience from delivering complex analytics projects
- Is accountable for ensuring that the team delivers solutions with high quality standards, timeliness, compliance and excellent user experience
- Contributes to innovative experiments, specifically to idea generation, idea incubation and/or experimentation, identifying tangible and measurable criteria

**Education Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related quantitative field required.
- Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related quantitative field desired.

- Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in IT and/or Information Management role and 2+ years relevant experience in commercial (sales / marketing / digital) environment
- Advanced data architecture and data & process modelling experience using relational cloud-based databases, e.g. SQL and/or AWS Redshift, Oracle.
- Proven experience with code repositories such as Bitbucket o github
- Proven experience with data engineering tools, exploratory data analysis, data mining frameworks.
- Proven experience in automating ETL processes.
- Successful use cases of manipulating, processing, and identifying value from large, disconnected datasets.
- Work Experience and understanding of SDLC deliverables in project.

**Functional Skill Requirements**
- Spanish fluency required.
- English fluency required, along with excellent English written and verbal communications skills.
- Have participated in, or be familiar with, Agile (Scrum) project methodology and practices
