Are you a passionate **Cook II**, or eager to learn the trade? Then China Wok in Schagerbrug is the perfect place for you Whether you already have experience in the hospitality industry or are looking for an opportunity to develop yourself, we give you the space to grow and learn. What you’ll do as Cook II:

- Perform preparation tasks such as washing and cutting vegetables and preparing rice and noodle dishes, working together with a kitchen team of about 8 colleagues under the supervision of the head chef.
- Prepare and cook dishes according to the head chef’s recipes and perform interim quality and hygiene checks.
- Finish and check dishes before they are sent out, after which the service staff takes them for delivery or serving.
- Clean your work area, kitchen equipment, and machines daily before closing, assist the kitchen helper with cleaning the entire kitchen, and help store delivered goods.
- Be a strong team player with a flexible attitude and good communication skills.
- Contribute to quality improvement, menu optimization, and the development of recipes and preparation instructions.
- Preferred qualifications: MBO-2 level (or equivalent) education, with knowledge and experience in basic cooking techniques.

What we offer you:

- A gross salary between €2,500 - €3,000 based on a 38-hour work week, according to the Dutch Hospitality CAO, including 25 vacation days and 8% holiday allowance.
- A pleasant and close-knit working atmosphere.
- A temporary contract of at least 1 year.
- Travel allowance from 10 km and up.
