Category Production Planner

**The role**

As Category Production Planner, you will become part of the Above Market Supply Planning Team. In this position, you will directly report to R&G Supply Lead for Coffees EUR while keeping strong connectivity with the Spanish Market and the Factory. You will have an opportunity to make a difference by leveraging supply planning capabilities, collaborating in dynamic environment and supporting Category objectives.

This role combines both DPS & MPS duties.

**What you’ll do**
- To establish an 18 months Production plans using the newly integrated OMP Tool (OM Partners), respecting the agreed level of available capacity to ensure that finished and semi-finished goods are available with high freshness, at the right stock location to meet customer demand whilst minimizing cost.
- To translate MPS Volumes Planning within DPS (Detailed Production Scheduling) in line with market requirements respecting plant constraints, considering the best cycles to protect plant performance whilst achieving a high level of customer service.
- To analyze exceptions, takes business decisions within agreed Framework (based on priorities or after arbitration and product allocation) and adjusts planning results accordingly
- To balance the need for product availability versus cost of inventory. Ensures optimum stocks of the right material in the right location and the right freshness
- To liaise with the MRP planners to ensure that material availability will not impact production plans and to protect customer service in case of shortage
- To make regular housekeeping in the system and ensure that all planning Master Data are updated regularly

**Minimum qualifications**
- University Degree in Business Administration/ Engineering/ Economics / Statistics or any other related field and MBA / MSc in Business or other related discipline
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Planning (ideally production planning)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain/Operations
- Keen on working with advanced excel solutions that automate daily and weekly processes and potential to develop Power BI tools
- Practical knowledge of SAP APO, Power Bi and other reporting tools.
- Knowledge of OMP will be a plus.
- Business English and Spanish proficiency (B2-C1 level minimum)
