About the role

As a Finance Intern, you will support the finance team in providing financial insights and analysis to drive strategic decision-making. You will work closely with stakeholders across various departments and the Finance Business Partners to enhance financial performance and ensure alignment with company goals.

Key responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Marketing, Sales and the Commercial Excellence team) to gather financial data and insights for budgeting and forecasting processes.- Maintaining files to aide with forecast and cost control of the warehouse & distribution, overheads and Advertising and Promotion costs.- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).- Support the Finance Lead and the Senior Finance Business Partner in ad-hoc analysis and reporting to inform business decisions.- Participate in financial modelling and scenario analysis to evaluate potential business initiatives.- Support the Business Partners by providing analytical support to Core Commercial Cycle.

Qualifications and skills

Essential- Finance / business degree (qualified accountant preferred).- High English and Spanish level.- Strong communicator, influencer and ability to effectively use negotiation.- High attention to detail.- Self-starter, positive attitude, inquisitive and change oriented. Able to effectively manage time against agreed deadlines.- Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
