Job Scope : Compensation and Benefits Staff Analyst for EMEA countries (including but not limited to Germany, France, UK, Russia, Poland, Belgium, Italy, Netherlands, etc.)
As a Compensation and Benefits Staff Analyst, you will be responsible for the management and administration of compensation and benefits and rewards programs in EMEA. You will support ongoing plan maintenance, review, lead project activities, respond to inquiries related to the administration, operations and management of compensation, health, wellness, retirement and time away programs. You will report into the Director of Benefits to ensure delivery of competitive employee benefits to AMDers and work closely with the local HR and operations teams. This role will be based in Spain.
What you will do:
- Support the cyclical compensation activities and ad hoc compensation queries
- Support the operations and delivery of benefits programs including design, renewal, enrollment, administration and implementation
- Administer benefit programs for all countries in EMEA including health, life, disability, and retirement programs
- Serve as a liaison to insurance carriers regarding renewal activities, claim problems, issues, and concerns
- Develop and maintain Time off and leave policies and processes
- Ensure maintenance of benefits content on the company intranet and MyHR
- Support implementation of new benefits initiatives
- Work with HR Ops to optimize administrative processes based on local regulations and the requirements of Payroll and HRIS systems
- Manage internal and external partners performing benefit administration services and conduct periodic audits
- Ensure that the benefits administration is delivered consistently, efficiently, and in line with contract and legal requirements
- Assist with benchmarking benefits and evaluating new vendors and programs
- Manage insured benefits and ensure delivery of scalable programs
- Develop benefits education and promotion materials and facilitate onsite events
- Partner with AskHR team and provide benefits program training as necessary
- Assist Compensation Manager on regional benchmarking and allowance practices in the region
- Coordinate with local HR team and corporate mobility on internal transfers into and out of the region and work with appropriate internal and external parties on appropriate visa requirements
- Partner with HR, Finance, Payroll and benefit programs service providers
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and 5 years progressive experience in Benefits Administration or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of EMEA Health & Welfare benefits, leave of absence, disability and time away programs, retirement practices, legislation and compliance requirements
- Superior English skills with additional European languages is a major advantage
