As a** Project Coordinator**, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, execution and completion of various projects within our organization. Working closely with project managers, you will coordinate project activities, track progress, and ensure timely and within-budget project delivery. Your responsibilities will also include identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks to minimize potential disruptions and ensure successful outcomes. Additionally, you will serve as a liaison between project managers and various departments, facilitating effective communication and keeping all stakeholders informed of any changes to project plans. You will also be responsible for organizing, reporting, planning meetings, and providing regular updates to project documents and project managers.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist the Project Managers with the planning and implementation of projects.
- Help with the coordination of internal resources and third parties / vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Update project documentation and Project Management tools with up-to-date information.
- Escalate to Project Managers changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
- Maintain effective communication and working relationship with customers and project team members.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Ensure that all tasks assigned are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.

**Requirements**:
**Desired knowledge and skills**
- Great educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project managers.
- Thorough understanding of project management phases, techniques and tools, with a focus on projects related to network infrastructure and cybersecurity.
- Strong understanding of network security principles, protocols, and technologies to effectively coordinate technical teams.
- Reasonable knowledge of current technologies and uses.
- Problem solving and decision-making techniques with a proactive “can-do” attitude.
- Considerable ability to interpret technical procedures to customers.
- Proficient writing, visual design and presentation skills.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, customers and company employees.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking concepts, IT infrastructure topologies, and emerging technologies in network security.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001, and experience implementing security controls in project environments is a plus.
- VSAT networking in marine environments knowledge is a plus.
