Role
Reporting to the Iberia commercial and develop manager, you will organize and deliver best in class commercial capabilities programs, coaching, and ways of working. You will drive development of high-performance commercial talents and teams, and support excellence in execution across the commercial organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Produce, organize and deliver best quality training and coaching to local sales and customer marketing teams and distributor partners where appropriate as per Iberia priorities. Deliver the agreed training plan for the area within the defined timeframes and reflecting the changing needs of the business via:
- Regular, effective, and focused field visits with clear objectives, agreed KPIs, and rigorous follow-up
- High quality virtual and physical training sessions
- Area meetings delivered in collaboration with the Field Sales Manager.
- Cross functions capability stakeholders network building : HR, Finance, RGM, Commercial Ops, Marketing etc
- Create and deliver the best on boarding program with HR.
- Drive adoption of the new ways of working and sales tools that will equip our sales teams to win in the marketplace. BCW, RTM,AMALIA, COACHING, SALESMAP, MRM.with your target groups
- Monitor KPIs to measure the impact of training delivered, providing feedback to the relevant Field Sales Managers, adapting training based on the feedback from the Field Sales Managers and Education & Pro Manager to ensure the continual improvement of the training provided and learning outcomes.
- Deliver measurable value through execution of specific Commercial Way programs in your market e.g.: AVQPAP, Pictures of Success, winning in the On-Premises, On Trade Academy, Route-to-Market (RTM), Amalia, Winning with Retail Customers, Value creation, Key Account Capabilities, and Bacardi Distributor Way, Salesmap, MRM).
- Conduct quarterly performance assessment and report of your Commercial capability execution ;
Skills and Experience
- THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
- Experience of having worked in an organization where commercial capability was key company strength (knowing what great looks like in this area is essential).
- Experience of leading or being part of a Capability team is core (e.g., Cluster Capability team).
- Experience working within the FMCG Demonstrable track record of performance in Commercial.
- Solid On-Trade and Off-Trade experience and understanding.
- Experience in an industry particularly with strong 3rd party distribution channel (e.g., drinks, confectionary, snacks).
- Proficiency in English Spanish and Portuguese.
- Good working knowledge in the system required to perform the role (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Experience in Spirits and/or Beverage industry (at a globally relevant brand) is preferred.
- Experience in customer marketing and sales is preferred.
- Clear, consistent, and motivational communication style
- Excellent presentation skills and classroom delivery
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of how to build capability to drive growth
- Able to identify training needs, learning outcomes and deliver content and coaching to meet these
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team-player
- Positive approach Independent and proactive working style
- Enjoys working at pace
- Must be able to travel Spain and Portugal.
