**Job Description and Qualifications**

We are **Air Products**, a leading Industrial and Medical Gases company in operation for over 120 years. We provide industrial gases and related equipment to dozens of industries, including refining, chemical, metals, electronics, manufacturing, and food and beverage. We are looking for a** Quality Engineer** in **Madrid**.
Reporting to the EUA Regulatory & Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer is responsible for the **development, maintenance and effective implementation of Management Systems and processes**.

**As the Quality Engineer you will**:

- Continuously improve and ensure the effective deployment of a robust Management System that will guarantee the Product Quality and Service requirements of external accreditation bodies, regulatory authorities and the requirements of customer contracts:

- Prepare and implement quality assurance policies and procedures and perform routine inspections and quality tests;
- Monitor, inspect and propose measures to correct or improve a company's final products and processes to meet established quality standards;
- Manage performance and quality improvement projects design to assess and improve company outcomes;
- Develop and implement quality culture projects within the organization.
- Provide an appropriate level of support for audits, assessments and questionnaires received from external accreditation bodies, regulatory authorities and customers. Provide effective management of the internal audit process.
- Coordination with the Merchant, Electronics and Food Business Areas to identify and address changes is legislation, support improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with market requirements.
- Support digitalization programs.

**You will have**:

- Bachelor’s degree in **Engineering** or equivalent discipline in **Quality**.
- Minimum 5 Years’ experience in a **Quality System Role**.
- Proven communication skills, both written and verbal. **High English level **is essential to the role.
- Strong interpersonal and** leadership skills**.
- The knowledge and skills to **implement Quality related programs** ensure that products and services continually meet customer requirements.
- Relevant professional qualifications.
- Ability to interrogate and understand regulatory and customer quality specifications.
