SAP Security Architect

The SAP Security Architect (M/F/d) is responsible for designing and maintaining a secure SAP landscape that aligns with coporate information security strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP systems and modules, as well as the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams to ensure robust protection against evolving threats.

LOCATION:
Please note that the **working location for this position will be in Madrid city**,**where we are currently setting up a new office location. Until the office is fully set-up within the next few months, you will have the possibility to work flexibly from home-office and continue with a hybrid working model afterwards.
This position is not a fully remote position, and an onsite presence will be required once our office location is ready.

**Creating passion: your responsibilities**:

- Lead the technical design and development of secure SAP architectures, covering access control, data protection and threat mitigation
- Define and enforce SAP security policies, standards, and procedures across the organization in alignment with the Information Security Framework
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend appropriate security controls within SAP environments based on risk
- Evaluate SAP security technologies and solutions
- Identify and drive security enhancements in SAP platforms (e.g. S/4HANA, ECC, BW, Fiori)
- Collaborate closely with SAP development, engineering, IT operations and compliance teams to ensure security is embedded throughout the SAP lifecycle
- Adopt and promote a security-by-design approach with the different stakeholders
- Actively contribute to the Coporate Information Security architecture community, sharing insights and best practices
- Stay current with SAP security trends, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements

** Contributing your strengths: your qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on SAP environments
- Following certificates are preferred; CISSP, CISM or SAP certifications
- English is a Must, German and French are a plus
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST)
- Deep expertise in SAP security best practices, including user and role management, authorization concepts and secure configuration
- In-depth understanding of SAP S/4HANA, RISE, ECC and other SAP modules, and their security implications
- Experience designing secure architectures for both cloud-based and on-premise SAP deployments
- Familiarity with Enterprise Access Management (EAM) and Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions
