What you’ll do & Who you are

As the Head of UX at coches.net/motos.net (part of Adevinta group) you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our products by leading and developing a team of designers and researchers. You will be responsible for championing user-centered design principles, fostering a culture of innovation, and ensuring that our product teams are equipped to deliver outstanding experiences from a user perspective.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Development:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers and researchers, fostering a collaborative work environment.-
- Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them grow both personally and professionally.-
- User-Centered Design Advocacy:
- Champion the importance of user-centered design throughout the organization, influencing product strategy and decision-making processes.-
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and strategy leads (Cluster Leads) to ensure that user needs and insights are integrated into product development cycles.-
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX design and research.-
- Establish and maintain UX standards, guidelines, and best practices collaborating with head of UX from other Adevinta’s marketplaces.-
- Conduct regular usability testing, user research, and data analysis to gather insights and identify areas for improvement.Qualifications:
- Proven track record of leadership and management experience, preferably in a UX design or research role.- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, methodologies, and processes.- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.- Experience working in agile or lean product development environments.- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, etc.
