Eu Services Sourcing Staff Manager, 3rd Party

**Job Description Summary**:
The EU Services Sourcing Staff Manager - 3rd Party Services will support a team of Business Leaders, Services Directors, and the Global Sourcing Leaders, in the management and execution of a large portfolio of GE and other OEM FSA and Transactional Services contracts for the EU region.

The Services Commodity Leader will be responsible for development of procedures for the evaluation and verification of aftermarket services scope to include, but not limited to, Major Component Exchange support (cranes and labor), Top Issues supplier alignment, support on non-GE or “UFS” and required

oversight and daily management of field repairs with the goal of meeting or exceeding EU Operating Plan targets around Strategic objectives and margin enhancement within the Services buy. In addition, this role is going to lead a team of an additional Sr Commodity Leader.
**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Create a roadmap and drive strategy for the region to meet productivity targets.
- Review and evaluate supplier pricing rates to create recommendations on alternative pricing and options for Services, Major Component Exchange and Top Issue’s needs.
- Development and implementation of methods, means, and procedures in support of regional Services team.
- Interface with GE’s selected contractors for operational and technical specifications.
- Work with the cross functional leaders to address field operational requirements, equipment delivery and closure operational issues as they relate to Services’ strategic objectives.
- Support Global Sourcing Leader regarding Services scope around contracts, negotiations, should costs and commercial team support.
- Support Transactional Sales team as required to respond to customer inquiries or opportunities to include, but not limited to, plans for support, timing, pricing and risk mitigation.
- Locate and contract with training firms to expand our internal Field Service “bench.”
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with Key GE Services Stakeholders, Customers, Installation Contractors, Suppliers, and other key industry players.
- Continuous Improvement; lead cross-functional teams using lean principles and tools to improve functionality of products and or process performance, while reducing costs for non-standard or extended scope projects in our supply chain.
- Managing projects related to Continuous Improvement, vendor initiatives, and site spend optimization for extended scope projects.
- Troubleshooting/resolving problems around site labor, FSA, and transactional Services support.
- Continuous Improvement: leading cross-functional teams using lean principles and tools to improve functionality of products and or process performance while reducing costs.
- Responsible for processing orders for Services and the resolution of customer inquiries around status of their order.
- Category management of $70M+ for over 10000 Wind Turbines.
- Develop a strong relationship with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Project Management, Quality and other business Owners to increase adoption and quick implementation of new ideas, processes/procedures to optimize Services Customer Facing problem solving

**Required Qualifications**
- Wind Product´s / Business / Industry knowledge
- Excellent oral and written communications and influencing skills
- Previous people leadership experience
- Ability to effectively work across countries, cultures and cross functionally.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar Sourcing or Commodity Manager role
