**ROLE SUMMARY**:

- We are currently seeking to appoint an IT Junior Technician to offer IT support in our school in Barcelona.- La Miranda School, Barcelona, offers students a first-class education as a premium international, multilingual school committed to academic excellence in global education. The international group of leading, premium schools utilises best educational practices from every corner of the globe to ensure each student receives a first-class learning experience, from Kindergarten to Year 13.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To provide first level support to all staff, teachers, and students.
- Basic network maintenance for Apple (iPad and MacOS) - Cisco Meraki environment.
- New devices set up.
- Solving IT issues at school
- System supervising.
- IT Security.
- Backups solutions.
- Creating and maintaining internal IT required documents such as handbooks and IT policies.
- Software installations.
- Managing local ticketing system and solving all incoming requests.

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:

- Degrees related to IT
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, communication, negotiation & team working skills.
- B1 English level/ C2 Spanish (Catalan is a plus)
- Knowledge regarding (not mandatory): Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory, TCP/IP, switching and networking, Microsoft Windows 10/11, Office 365, SharePoint, iOS, and Google Workspaces for Education. Knowledge in managing VoIP systems, firewall management (Meraki), Apple School Manager, Google Workspace for Education and MDM JAMF).
- Ability to work on own initiative while being a Team Player as well.
- Ability to remain motivated and achieve objectives, always within deadlines.
- Desirable experience in education environments
