Environmental Engineer

**BUNGE** has an exciting opportunity available for an **Environmental Engineer**. In this role, you will design, develop, test and implement technically and economically feasible solutions/technologies which help organization comply with much stricter legal requirements, reducing actively our environmental impact at the same time and achieving our sustainability corporate goals. You will guarantee that all the new projects in BEA are including these best environmental technologies and practices. Also, you will support BEA in the accomplishment of our corporate sustainability goals and targets.

**Some responsibilities of the **Environmental Engineer are**:

- Identify the best available pollution control technologies for BEA activities and processes.
- Participate in any Corporate Project review process.
- Define plans and programs for best environmental practices implementation in BEA factories.
- Identify gaps, weaknesses and points with further improvements needs.
- Track the final yields and results of the different environmental technologies implemented in BEA.
- Train the BEA plant teams in the use of new environmental and technologies implemented.
- Support BEA local teams in the design and implementation of environmental technologies (air treatments, wastewater treatment plants, pollution prevention systems, etc ).
- Industrial Engineering degree or similar.
- 3+ years engineering experience with Environmental technologies.
- English, other European language would be a plus.
- Available to travel to industrial units in Europe.
- Experience in project management and plant management.
- Aptitude for collecting and analyzing environmental data and environmental key parameters and KPIs.
- Strong communication skills with comfort in speaking with business stakeholders.
- Able to meet strict project deadlines.
- Good skills for training.
