Service Technician

**Region MED > SBU MED Service > Proyectos South** The Service Department is responsible for maintaining and ensuring the optimal operation of our clients' wind farms, maximizing efficiency throughout the entire lifespan of each turbine. This team is responsible for keeping turbines running at full capacity, generating the highest possible energy output, and ensuring long-term customer satisfaction **Responsibilities** - In direct collaboration with the Maintenance Supervisor, your main tasks will include - Performing inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on wind turbines - Identifying and troubleshooting technical faults and failures - Assisting in the commissioning of wind turbines - Completing and maintaining technical documentation - Measuring and reporting key performance indicators Availability to travel up to 80% of the year to wind farms in nearby provinces such as Huelva and Granada, etc in the south of Spain **Qualifications** - Technical education in Vocational Training (FP) or Engineering, preferably in electricity or industrial maintenance, with highly valued qualifications including Técnico en Instalaciones Eléctricas y Automáticas, Técnico en Mantenimiento Electromecánico, Técnico en Sistemas Electrotécnicos y Automatizados, Técnico en Mecatrónica Industrial, Técnico en Energías Renovables, Técnico en Automatización y Robótica Industrial, and Técnico en Mantenimiento de Instalaciones Térmicas y de Fluidos - Previous experience in a similar role within the electrical or industrial sectors will be valued - Ability to work at heights and in adverse weather conditions - Basic IT skills, experience with SAP, and data collection and analysis software - English proficiency for reading technical manuals Fluent Spanish and a valid category B driving license are required **Competencies** - We seek professionals with teamwork skills and the ability to work in environments - Effective resolution of issues, adept task organization, and an emphasis on safety and regulatory conformity are essential traits Paying close attention to detail and maintaining a high standard of quality are fundamental **What we offer** - An engaging and international work environment with professional development opportunities - Full mobility within the region, with a main base in Seville, but frequent travel to nearby wind farms is required - Company-provided transportation - Coverage of travel expenses, including accommodation and daily allowances in accordance with the collective agreement - Training and certification in wind turbine maintenance - A contract regulated by the industry agreement, including additional benefits such as a 5% bonus and a company vehicle - A permanent contract - An attractive salary plus bonus - A meal card - Life and medical insurance Opportunities to grow professionally in an international environment **BEWARE - RECRUITMENT FRAUD** **DEIB Statement** At Vestas, we recognise the value of diversity, equity, and inclusion in driving innovation and success.
