Here at Brenntag we are looking for a Director of Controlling to join our Material Science business unit. This role can be based anywhere in Europe.

**Job Description**:

- Financial steering & business co-piloting to the Material Science BU incl. planning, forecasting, trending, and analysis
- Part of the development and execution of the Strategic of the Material Science business in EMEA
- Drive actions for improvement and efficiency of BSP Material Science in the region.
- Prepare and evaluate investment decisions and contract approvals when required
- Support and work alongside non-financial management
- Ensure compliance of business procedures, reporting compliance, controls, and risk assessments
- Review and analyse working capital to achieve optimization
- Support M&A in valuation, negotiations support, and alignment with stakeholders
- Multiple years experience in a FP&A / Controlling position
- Strong analytical skills & the ability to communicate across business functions
- Ability to prioritise and manage own workload within a busy environment
