Electrical and Automation Engineer

**The Electrical and Automation Engineer is responsible for;**:

- to report to Integrated Solutions Engineering Manager
- to assist to Project Managers/ Engineering/ Commercial Engineering
- for the EIA project execution for mining process plants, crushing and screening projects, sand and gravel dry and wet process projects
- to ensure the EIA engineering deliverables in line with contract requirement ( contract, RFQ, design criteria and related norms and standards to be considered )
- to check/approve/ release EIA engineering deliverables submitted from the EIA partners as below:

- MCC panel layout diagrams (internal/external layout, bottom cable entry layout etc.)
- MCC power diagrams (3-wire, SLD)
- MCC control diagrams (Between MCC and PLC)
- MCC cable schedule/list (includes cable section and length)
- MCC motor list
- MCC terminal connection diagrams
- MCC part list (motors, switch gears, cables, terminals, enclosures, panel accessories etc.)
- PLC panel layout (internal/external layout, bottom cable entry layout, junction boxes etc.)
- PLC I/O configuration diagrams (analogue /digital input/output connection diagrams)
- PLC handshaking signal diagrams between VFD(if required)/MCC and Customer DCS/PLC system
- PLC Emergency stop circuit diagrams (Pilz or other safety relay module)
- PLC parts list (PLC/HMI hardware items, power supply, relays, push buttons, lamps, cables, glands, terminals, enclosure, panel accessories etc. )
- PLC cable schedule/list (includes cable section and length)
- PLC terminals connection diagrams
- Plant layout overview configuration
- P&I diagrams
- Cable tray routing diagrams (includes cable tray sizes and installation details)
- Installation diagrams of earthing system (PE/IE), lighting etc.
- PLC/HMI software (Plant layout programming)
- PLC/HMI software license (only if required)
- to coordinate/ identify the EIA engineering tasks and assign EIA engineering tasks to all project partners to meet the EIA design requirements ( Vendors, Designers, process engineers, product managers, consultants, supply chain )
- to organize and lead the EIA reviews internally and with the partners
- to check and release the technical specification for bought out instruments (technical specs, drawings and data sheets)
- to meet the project schedule and delivering quality output on time
- to prepare the cost and time consequences of variation requests
- to support the project managers for the customer and vendor meetings and site visits ( EIA engineering clarifications )
- to support the Risk Analysis and HAZOP meetings in relation to EIA.
- to support field personnel during erection and commissioning
- Ensure that the company’s strict IP policies are adhered to at all times
- Ensure the health and safety requirements at work place

**EIA Engineer role requires**:
**Strong experience as below**:

- Plant layout overview configuration
- Designing three wire drawings, cable routing, Single Line diagrams (SLD), & Hardware configurations
- MCC Panel Design
- PLC Panel Design
- PLC & HMI and SCADA programming of control systems (Control Philosophy, Logic Diagrams, Cause and Effect, Functional Description )
- P&I diagrams
- All type of instruments used in Mining industry and sand plant
- Determination of Cable Sections
- Determination of Cable Tray Dimensions and Routing Drawings
- Electrical engineering for controls of machines ( Crushers, screens, pumps, washers )
- Crushing / Washing / Material handling / Tailing projects

**Person Specification**:

- A methodical approach to work with a high attention to detail to ensure the highest accuracy of their work.
- Must be interested and capable of learning and use a diverse set of design & processing software to visualize 3d layouts or flowsheets etc.
- Must work well in a team and be able to communicate well with staff at all levels in the Business
- Applicants must have a high level of personal integrity to protect the Companies Intellectual Property
- Must have an excellent level of English language, both written & spoken with an interest in constant improvement
- No obstacle for travelling

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent level of English language

**Experience Skills**:

- min 5 years in the EIA engineering postion for the
- Crushing plants projects ( jaw/ cone/ impact crushers)
- Screening plants projects ( horizontal/ inclined/dewatering screens )
- Washing plants projects ( Flat bottom classifiers, washers, cyclone cluster)
- Material handling projects (feed hopper, surge bins, conveyors, transfer chutes)
- Tailing projects ( thickeners, filter presses, decanters )
