Right now, we are looking for a
**Sr Tax Analyst,** to join our team at Globant
- Main activities:_
- Preparation of annual, monthly and quarterly Tax Returns such as, Corporate Income tax, VAT Returns, Withholding Tax payments and other government payments and returns within stipulated deadlines.
- Forecasting of tax payments for effective cash flow management.
- Preparation of monthly and annual tax provisions.
- Internal reporting and monitoring of fiscal risks.
- Be responsible for the interaction with the external advisors.
- Prepare for, and assist with, external tax audits.
- Assist with the reconciliation of general ledger tax accounts.
- Assist with quarterly and annual audit including SOX compliance
- Support management in making strategic tax decisions.
- Handle tax queries from business stakeholders and operational teams, acting as the single point of contact in the country and the region.
- Cooperate with the Corporate Tax Advisory and Transfer Pricing team providing comprehensive and business-oriented tax analysis and advice such as tax credit recovery process, legal reorganization, M&A activity among others.
- Interface with other regional and local teams.
- What will help you succeed:_
- 5 years of experience in tax matters in Big4 or Multinational Groups.
- Experience in taxation in Spain.
- Experience in taxation of EMEA countries is a plus.
- Accounting and financial skills.
- Being flexible and goal oriented.
- Enjoy solving problems and improving processes.
- Possess analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Interdisciplinary ability to understand diverse topics of a global corporate environment.
- Experience with SAP (desirable).
- Intermediate English skills.
