**Working in Trading & Origination**

As part of the Trading & Origination Department, the Origination Iberia team concludes non-standard, structured and often complex transactions in wholesale energy markets as well as market access services. Therefore, it cooperates closely with Statkraft’s trading desks and the other regional Origination teams to offer pan-European tailored energy solutions. The responsibilities within the team are divided among Origination, Market Access, and Portfolio Management. The business has significantly grown in terms of size and operational complexity cutting across all support functions in the markets division resulting from the increased ambition level to grow the customer business in Statkraft.

As a Contract Operations Manager in the Origination Iberia team, you’ll:

- Lead contract management and operational excellence for the Iberian Origination business, acting as custodian for all structured deals throughout the entire deal life cycle.
- Play a central, proactive role as the interface between customers, the origination and portfolio management teams, Statkraft support functions as well as third-party service providers stakeholders
- Identifying operational issues in the Origination Iberia team, prioritize and facilitate action across M to mitigate and overcome structural problems proposing process improvements and automation, while also solving issues on an ad-hoc basis
- Build a close and positive relationship with support units and share insights on initiatives to the Origination Iberia team
- Participate and represent the team in operational projects as well as cross-functional groups
- Be a sparring partner for new product initiatives and identify potential operational showstoppers in an early stage
- Support new business development initiatives ensuring operational feasibility
- Support in the development of Guarantees of Origin Origination activities

**Qualifications** About you**:
We look for experienced Contract Operations Manager with the essential skills to future-proof our business and renewable energy solutions. These include:

- Previous experience with PPA or other complex power contracts, ETRM or EDM systems and internal operational processes such as deal-entry-to-payment or new product implementation processes (at least 3yrs of relevant experience desired)
- Project management skills from coordinating multiple stakeholders across different support functions
- University degree in economics, finance, engineering, or equivalent

These skills are also useful in your role:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, very structured way of working and high attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in Spanish,fluent in English language
