**Main Purpose**:Ensure best standards are applied on operating facilities, ensure that standards are adhered to by consultants on projects. Responsible for signing off yearly plant budgets. Support Technical Team with DD’s
**Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities**:
**Knowledge Skills**
- Relevant university degree in mineral processing, chemical engineering or mechanical engineering
- Minimum 15 years of operational experience from mineral processing, from more than one process plant
- Multi commodity experience with particular focus on Zn and Pb
- Solid experience from leading teams
- Experienced from plant projects such as expansions and/or process improvement
- Must be fluent in English, Spanish is a big plus

**Key Responsilbities**
- Ensure best standards are applied on operating facilities
- Conduct periodic audits of each operation to asses standards, and advise on corrective actions
- Be up to date on new technology improvements in the market to enable sharing with sites
- Coordinate improvement project efforts
- Conduct scoping studies and tests
- Propose new improvement project to site
- Follow up on installation of these efforts on a regular basis, if needed, coordinate installation of these initiatives
- Coordinate company wide process functional committee
- Ensure that standards are adhered to by consultants on projects
- Ensure Test programmes are of correct scope/standard/quality
- Ensure Design Criteria is of correct standard
- Involved in equipment sizing and supplier
- Responsible for signing off yearly plant budgets
- Operational costs(short and long term)
- Ensure operating cost estimates aligns with improvement efforts
- Capital Cost (short and long term)
- Ensure capital program aligns with improvement efforts
- Support Technical Team with DD’s
